Re-cap

The buddy walk today was good! We had a WONDERFUL turn out, the largest group there, but thats not saying much because the turn out was very poor. However, our group had fun and we were able to raise over $1100 for DS! Way to go team! We are looking forward to sporting our "Malachi's Marching Mohawks" again in October! It was a perfect day! I even got some sun (We were only outside for 20mins). I have pictures and I will post them tomorrow with our Cubs game pictures! Have a wonderful evening and give all the little (and big too) kiddos a big snuggle!!

I had to look at your profile when I saw your wonderful note to MckMamma. I loved your statement that "We were willing to follow God with our eyes closed and our hearts open." Praise Him that He has given you the love and strength to deal with Malachi's "open heart" problems with your open hearts of love. He is a darling baby.

Don't you just love verses from Malachi 4? "But for you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture." "His preaching will bring fathers and children together again, to be of one heart and mind.."

Thank you for being such a blessing to the world as you love your cutie pie!

BTW, I also noticed your name and it reminded me of a recent comment by my three year old grandson. Mason highly approved of the movie selection, "Horton Hears a Who." He said "That's my fravrit! "Hooton the Hore!" :) :)

Oops! I had to open my blogger account again...I think I have too many filters or something. Anyway, cutting and pasting got out of control so you'll see my remarks repeated. Sorry!!
